Memory of China: Chinese Traditional Arts and Culture Festival
Location: Members' Terrace, County Hall

A two-day celebration of traditional Chinese arts and culture at County Hall, with dance, yoga, calligraphy, crafts and hands-on experiences.
The Memory of China Festival comes to County Hall this October for a two-day celebration of traditional Chinese arts and culture, bringing together dance, wellbeing, craftsmanship and cultural exchange in the heart of London's South Bank.
Across Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, County Hall Dance Centre will host a varied programme of performances, workshops and hands-on experiences. From the 2nd UK Chinese Yoga Festival, Chinese classical and ethnic dance to calligraphy, acupressure and Yunnan cultural showcases, the weekend offers different ways to discover and experience Chinese culture. Cultural exhibitions, traditional crafts, hands-on activities, a makers' market and tea culture will also feature throughout the festival.
Saturday's programme has been created especially with the Chinese community in mind and will be presented in Chinese and English, while Sunday's programme will be led primarily in English for international and local audiences. Everyone is welcome to join, and no previous experience is required.
The festival is presented by County Hall Dance Centre in collaboration with County Hall Arts, as part of a growing programme celebrating dance, culture and artistic collaboration at County Hall.
